Quick Fruit Dip

Fresh fruit is a great way to satisfy cravings without added sugars. Serving fruit with a quick and simple dip is an excellent way to add protein from Greek yogurt. Remember to eat a rainbow of colors when choosing the fruit.

Choose a rainbow of colors to get a variety of nutrients for better health!

SERVES: 8 PREP TIME: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (low-fat or 2%)

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup

  • Assorted fresh fruit: apples, pears, bananas, peaches, pineapple, grapes, kiwi or berries.

  1. Wash and prep fruit; peel, slice or cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Blend the vanilla extract, cinnamon and maple syrup into the Greek yogurt.

  3.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  4. Serve the fruit dip with fresh fruit. Refrigerate any leftovers promptly.
